Game of Survival: Abstract Film
As a class, we were tasked with analyzing previous learning experiences and turning them into fairytales to send a moral message to the world. This is our fairytale.
"I was bound to see it shape shift from a human being to a decaying mystical creature, just not from the first day after the separation of the two worlds. The acid rain had destroyed all the nature and had turned it into a cold, distant and unreachable plain. While looking at it, I repelled at all the skin coming down, unravelling dark flesh, full of imperfections and deep scars, almost as a punishment to everlasting mistakes. I instantly got scared of it and tried to run away. But the creature came after me and stopped me, handing me a hat. I could not hide my surprised face as I took it in my hands. I heard the following words: 'take this hat and wear it whenever you feel insecure or scared. It has helped me overcome my fear of being judged. In this world full of toxic beauty standards, we have to remember the importance of the character', said the creature as I looked into its eyes and I saw the warmest, kindest smile. I quickly realised what fascinating eyes were watching me, as they slowly drifted away into the darkness." Written by Sabina Sbera
My role was to translate our fairytale into an abstract brand film to show our identity and the visual and atmospheric representation of our concept
